    • ‘BONTONZ’ is the academic association of the department that has been ever active with the conduct of various activities related to Software programming, Principles of IT, Data Structures, Web designing, Office Automation, etc.; besides, the association organizes intra- and inter-collegiate Seminars, Conferences, Guest Lectures and Workshops.

About the Department

      The Department of Information Technology was established in 2001 with the aim of providing value based quality technical education to the rural women students letting them possible to be successful techno-crafts in this technology-tilted world. The department offers a three year B.Sc. Information Technology regular course. The course offers a quality theoretical foundation in Information Technology complemented with substantial practical training.

    • Department Library has the collection of text books and reference books which cover all aspects of Information Technology accompanied with study materials, Question bank, previous years’ university question papers, etc. The department library amply fulfils the teaching and learning requirements of faculty and students.
    • 3 Computer Labs having 60 systems equipped with LAN connectivity, Printers, Projector and Monitor enable the teachers for contemporary mode of teaching and the students to harvest proficiency in Computer education.
    • Department Intercom enables for feasible communication with other departments and prime spots of college premises.

Vision

      To impart quality education in all it’s dimensions to the rural women folk in order to bring about their self- assertiveness and empowerment.
