Counselling cell

           The Higher Education students are in the stage of transition period of Adolescence, and they are ready to grasp and develop themselves simultaneously in various aspects. Hence, it is important to guide them constructively towards life and career planning. Subsequently, it is necessary to promote them to anticipate, plan and react optimistically to their developmental problems and transitional issues with integrated thoughts and behaviors. The students are to be enabled to reduce the stress and its negative impact, thereby, they can develop their interpersonal skills effectively. Such constructive responds let the students to become aware of their selfness with an analysis of strengths and weaknesses. Altogether, the students will be able to make constructive decisions beneficial to themselves and to the nation.

           With all the above-mentioned perspectives, Sri Adi Chunchanagiri Women’s College, Cumbum has had the Counselling cell with a team of faculty members. They take care of the students mental health by providing Counselling to the issues related to Education, Family, Personal, Behavior, Interpersonal relationship, etc.
