Caste Discrimination

      Sri Adi Chunchanagiri Women’s College strictly prohibits any kind of discrimination based on Caste, Creed, Religion and other sorts of discriminations. The Institution follows an absolute transparency in this regard according to ‘The Protection of Civil Liberties Act’.

       The Institution takes severe steps and actions against the discriminations and oppressions of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes according to the acts of

  • The Scheduled Castes And the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989
  • The Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015

      The faculty members, non-teaching staff and other officials should resist themselves from involving in such kind of discriminations against SC/ST students and other stakeholders of the Institution.

       SACWC would like to ensure that no staff of the Institution indulges in kind of discriminations against any caste/community/category based on individual’s social origin. Furthermore, SACWC confirms that no such complaint has been registered until now.
