INTERCOLLEGIATE MEET

  • Department of Management Studies conducted an intercollegiate meet B’NET – 2K23 on 28.02.2023 for the academic year 2022-2023. The events Rangoli, Face Painting, Mehandi, Group Dance, Solo Dance, Ad- Act were conducted. 21 colleges participated in the competition and the overall shield was won by Nadar Saraswathy College of Arts and Science, Theni District.

  • Department of Management Studies organized four days NISM TRAINING Program on 11.03.2023 to 15.06.2023 Mr.Rathinakaran, Smart Tech Solutions of SecuritiesMarket(NISM) gave detailed informations about SEBI, Mutual funds and the risks involved in investing and trading.
  • Department of Management Studies organized Five days Professional development Program on Mastering the Art of Product Promotion from 14.06.2023 to 18.06.2023 Dr.V.Parameshwari, Assistant Professor PG Department of Commerce, Jammal Mohammed College, Trichy acted as a resource person. The sessions was much interactive with many games and video sessions 
  • Department of Management Studies organized Seminar entitled “General Aptitude for Competitive Exam” on 09.08.2023. Dr.S Thowfeek Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce (Banking), HKRH College, Uthamapalayam addressed the students.
  • Department of Management Studies organized An International Webinar on “Time Mastery for Successful Business Management” on 15.08.2023.Dr. Sonia Selvin, Founder, People Empowerment Alliance for Creativity and Education, Peace, Maryland, USA acted as a resource person. She explained about the need and importance of time for the success of every individual.
  • Department of Management Studies organised a Webinar on “Modern forms of Communication” on 16.09.2023. Dr.Pradeepa Doraisamy, Assistant Professor, Departrment of B.Com (C.A), GTN Arts College, Dindigul acted as resource person. She explained about the Methods of communication and Seven C’s of effective Communication.
  • Department of Management Studies and IQAC organized three days Professional development Program on Simulation Techniques from 12.12.2023 to 14.12.2023. Ms.Aparna Chandran, Corporate Trainer, Cesium Pvt. Ltd., Pune acted as a resource person for the all three days. She provide practical training to staff on various simulation techniques such as Marketing techniques, Financial Techniques, HR techniques, and Operation techniques.

 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

ACADEMIC YEAR: 2023 – 2024

  • Department of Management Studies conducted Two days International Conference “GESTION ’24”on “CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE” was conducted on 06.03.2024 & 07.03.2024. We released the Conference Proceedings ISBN No: 978-81-968590-4-6.
  • On 06.03.2024 Forenoon session we had Dr.V.Parameswari, Assistant Professor, Jamal Mohammed College, Trichy. She gave a detailed session on Corporate Social Responsibility and the green marketing. In the Afternoon session we had Mr.K.Sambath Kumar, Head of Business Administration, Kokila College of Arts and Science, Puthukottai. He gave an elaborate speech about Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management effectively through interaction session
  • On 07.03.2024 it was an online session with Dr. Christo Ananth, Professor, Samarkand State University, Uzbekistan. He gave an effective speech on Intellectual property act.

Simultaneously we had the Paper presentation competition among the students and Ms.Madhumitha, of Nadar Saraswathi College,Theni  won the first prize.

ACADEMIC YEAR: 2024 – 2025

  • Department of Management Studies conducted Seminar  on “The Role of Intellectual Property Rights in Fostering Innovation and Economic Growth”on 25.07.2024. We had Dr.S.Thowfeek Khan , Assistant Professor Department of Commerce, HKRH College, Uthamapalayam as a resource person.
  • Department of Management Studies conducted An International Conference “PESQUISA’24”on “REVOLUTIONIZING RESAERCH WITH AI” on 08.08.2024. We released the Conference Proceedings ISBN No: 978-81-968590-1-5.
  • In the morning session we had Dr.R.Karunakaran Associate Professor, Department of Cooperatives, College of Business & Economics, Hawassa University, Ethiopia. He gave a detailed session on “Research Problems and Topic Selection in Management”.
  • In the Afternoon session we had DR.K. Binith Muthukrishnan, Principal, Rev.Jacob Memorial Christian College, Ottanchitiram, Dindugal. He gave an elaborate speech about “AI Tools in Research “effectively through interaction session.

Program: MBA

Eligibility:  Any UG degree with 50% of marks. The students should have written the entrance exam for MBA programme like CAT, MAT, TANCET or the entrance exam conducted by the University.

General Guidelines for PG Programme

  1. Duration: The programme shall extend through a period of 4 consecutive semesters and the duration of a semester shall normally be 90 days or 450 hours. Examinations shall be conducted at the end of each semester for the respective subjects.
  2. Medium of Instruction: English
  3. Evaluation: Evaluation of the candidates shall be through Internal Assessment and External Examination.

Program: BBA

 Eligibility: Candidate should have passed the higher secondary examination or CBSE or other Equivalent examination from any schools.
